What’s the Deal with Israelis and Rape?
Rape is a concept and a practice that occupies an elevated place in Israeli society, especially in the armed services and the judicial system, where it is viewed as a necessary and even righteous act
Those who are familiar with my writing know that, when it comes to Zionists and Israelis, I maintain that “every accusation is a confession”. That is to say, the Israelis have learned their fascist lessons well, from only the very best Nazis. It was, after all, Goebbels himself who gave a masterclass in propaganda in 1934, in which he remarked:
“The cleverest trick used in propaganda against Germany during the war was to accuse Germany of what our enemies themselves were doing.”
Never ones to let a good “trick” pass them by, the Israeli hasbara propagandists adopted this “cleverest” propaganda “trick” as the cornerstone of their noxious “hasbara” propaganda narratives.
We see this hasbara tactic at work the most when it comes to rape.
Engendering outrage
Israelis know that the “woke’ sensibilities of the West are most attuned to anything that has to do with gender issues and “sexual violence”. Moreover, they know that rape is something to which the Western society is especially sensitive, especially in America, where the #MeToo and #BelieveWomen movements have dominated the public discourse in recent years.
That was why they generated that tsunami of “rape stories” after October 7. The newspapers and media were filled with “witnesses” — government officials and NGO workers — who claimed that women had been “gang raped” by Hamas; that Hamas fighters cut off the breasts of Israeli women and played with them; that Hamas men were raping women while stabbing them in the back.
These stories painted an unbelievable picture of Hamas committing mass atrocities and “weaponising sexual violence” on October 7, 2023.
BUT NONE OF THOSE STORIES WERE TRUE.
They were spread by government and NGO operatives who flooded the media with “atrocity porn” in the days and weeks following the Hamas attacks.
As Max Blumenthal at the GrayZone explains in one example:
“Founded by a serial rapist known as the “Haredi Jeffrey Epstein,” Israeli ultra-Orthodox rescue group ZAKA is responsible for some of the most obscene post-October 7 atrocity fabrications, from beheaded babies to “mass rape” to a foetus cut from its mother.”
On May 10, I published an article entitled, “Can No One Tell Me the Name of an Israeli Woman Who Was Raped by Hamas on 10/7?” — To date, no one has been able to provide me with a single name. I continue to ask, and each time I am dismissed, insulted, and/or blocked.
The fact is, there was no rape committed on October 7, let alone the mass atrocities claimed by those “witnesses” who all faded from view in the months that followed.
In fact, even the death toll of October 7 has been exposed as a giant hot hasbara mess: far from the “1200 innocents butchered” that is constantly quoted, we now know that a large portion of those people were acvtive duty IDF personnel, and many — if not most — of the others killed were murdered by the Israeli military in carrying out the Hannibal Directive issued by the IDF high command at 12:00 noon on October 7.
This comprehensive command, what one Israeli Colonel described as “a mass Hannibal” event, may, in fact, have resulted in the vast majority of civilian deaths on October 7.
But RAPE will always and forever be the one heinous, disgusting crime associated with Hamas, thanks to that masterful hasbara campaign.
A campaign that would have made Josef Goebbels himself proud.
What the Israelis got out of the rape stories
It is easy enough to understand what the Israelis got out of their concerted effort to portray Hamas as rapists.
By spreading the false stories of rape, the Israelis could portray themselves as the saviours of Western culture, the defenders of civilisation facing off against the barbaric hordes of wild Islamic terror rapists.
Indeed, this narrative was the DOMINANT THEME of Benjamin Netanyahu’s address to the US Congress on July 24, 2024.
I covered this cynical diatribe in my article entitled “Netanyahu’s Speech Broke All Records … for Lying (Part 1)”, in which I quote Bibi’s racist rant:
“This is not a clash of civilisations. It’s a clash between barbarism and civilisation. It’s a clash between those who glorify death and those who sanctify life.”
Every Accusation is a Confession
Recent publicity has revealed that, for Israelis, rape is perfectly acceptable — especially if it is perpetrated by a Jew against a non-Jew.
Currently, there is a big deal about the rape of Palestinian prisoners by IDF and Israeli police, and the Knesset members and right wing mobs who defend them. The 9 officers who were being detained for raping Palestinian detainees so brutally that they needed to be hospitalised have been released to cheering crowds of supporters.
The current case, however, is notable because of its uniqueness. Human Rights Watch reports that the Knesset actively try to block prosecutions of rape and torture by IDF personnel. Moreover:
“Arrests of Israeli soldiers for abusing Palestinians are rare. From 2017 to 2021, just 0.87 percent of complaints against soldiers led to prosecutions, according to the Israeli rights group Yesh Din.”
That means that 99 out of 100 rapes committed by IDF soldiers go unpunished. Indeed, rape seems to be, at leats for the IDF, a simple fact of life.
HRW also reported on the troubling and scandalous reaction by Israeli leaders on those rare occasions when soldiers are detained:
Israel’s justice minister criticised detaining for questioning soldiers he said were performing a “holy job.” The finance minister and the national security minister both tweeted “hands off our reservists.” The Knesset’s foreign affairs and defense committee chair slammed “this despicable pursuit of our fighters.”
Zionism’s long history of rape
There seems to be no shortage of the anecdotal reporting of the most shocking tales of rape by Israeli Defence Forces.
The United Nations as well as NGOs such as HRW and Amnesty International, have been reporting on the IDF rape and abuse of Palestinian men, women and children for years.
Indeed, the Zionists have been weaponising rape since even before the birth of the Jewish State. A Mondoweiss article, entitled “How colonizers weaponize rape: reflections from the Palestinian case”, references a report on the horrific use of rape by Israeli forces during the Lebanese Civil Wars, which features the most horrific eye-witness reports;
“I saw about 19 young girls aged between nine and 15 years old being escorted to the camp. They were in an indescribable state. They had blood stains all over their clothes and legs. They were raped with bottles…”
The Mondoweiss article also reveals the use of rape during the Nakba:
“The systematic use of rape by Zionist militias throughout the course of the 1948 war as an instrument of ethnic cleansing and dispossession led to the displacement of around 750,000 indigenous Palestinians to make room for the nascent Jewish state. Palestinian women…have been particularly targeted by this eliminationist Zionist practice, as a way of disposing of an undesirable population.”
It should come as no surprise that where there is a genocide, women are especially targeted for abuse. They are, after all, the ones who will give birth to the future generations of the group that is to be exterminated.
That said, we know that rape is not about sex, but rather about power, about asserting one’s complete dominance over the other. That is why IDF sexual abuse of Palestinian males is so prevalent as well.
Sexual humiliation is a large part
The current rape scandal, the one that has laid bare the Israeli acceptance of, and even the exaltation of, committing rape against Palestinians has to do with male prisoners being raped in all manner of ways.
But the sexual abuse starts long before the electrified rod gets inserted into an anus.
If you ever see photos of male Palestinian prisoners in Gaza, for example, you will see that they are all stripped naked. This is, of course, to humiliate them and make them feel vulnerable and powerless.
Rape as officially sanctioned IDF policy?
But rape is not just common against detainees. The Chief Rabbi of the Israeli Defense Forces, Colonel Eyal Karim, is literally on record saying that rape of non-Jewish women is permitted in times of war.
“One of the most important and decisive values in war is maintaining the fighting capacity of the army.…in war the barriers of modesty and kashrut are “breached”…even though associating with a heathen is a very serious thing, it was allowed in the war out of consideration for the difficulties of the fighters. And since the success of the whole in the war is before our eyes, the Torah allowed the individual to satisfy the evil urge under the conditions it allowed, for the sake of the success of the whole.
So, according to the chief “spiritual advisor” of the IDF, rape is permissible in times of war in order to “maintain the fighting capacity of the army” — as long as the victim of the rape was a “heathen”, or non-Jew.
Blowback
The problem, of course, is that once rape is sanctioned under any conditions, it starts to happen under all conditions.
No wonder, then, that Karim is also against women in the armed forces. Given his views on rape, he probably knew that a co-ed military that believes rape is OK could lead to unintended consequences:
Making rape legal
Unbelievably, Israel is on a course to make rape legal if it is against a non-Jew. According to CBS News:
Lawmaker Hanoch Milwidsky was asked as he defended the alleged abuse whether it was legitimate, “to insert a stick into a person’s rectum?”
“Yes!” he shouted in reply to his fellow parliamentarian. “If he is a Nukhba [Hamas militant], everything is legitimate to do! Everything!”
Nukhba is the naval commando unit of the Al Qassam Brigade, the military wing of Hamas.
It makes sense that the Knesset would codify into law what is already happening in Gaza, in the Israeli prison system, in the West Bank and basically anywhere that Palestinians come into contact with the IDF.
The fact is that the complete dehumanisation of Palestinians is a foundational ethos of Zionism, one which I have written extensively about in my articles such as “Israel was Built on Myth, and Now it’s Busted”. This makes it easy and “not a sin” to rape and kill Palestinian girls and women.
One recently surfaced accounting of a rape in 1949 by an IDF unit is exemplary:
“She was abducted on Aug. 12, 1949…by Israeli soldiers near the Nirim military outpost in the Negev desert, close to the Gaza Strip. The unnamed Palestinian Bedouin girl, in her mid-teens, was then raped and executed.”
The soldiers were tried but given token sentences:
The Military Court of Appeals justified the light sentences, and was quoted as saying: “An attitude of disregard for the lives of Arabs in general and infiltrators in particular was common at the time… all this helped to create an atmosphere of ‘anything goes’.”
Unfortunately, that “attitude of disregard” has persisted until present day, and when it comes to Palestinian lives, “anything goes” is still the IDF motto.

Let's be clear its not merely the Israelis. Their partners in the US have longstanding love for abusing and sodomising prisoners.
