It’s not Russia. It’s not China. The United States is the world’s terrorist.
The US is the one who is intervening, meddling, invading and destroying nations and peoples all over the world.
So many Westerners want to accuse Russia and China of meddling in other countries. To those outside the West, to those living in the so-called “Global South”, such accusations are laughably hypocritical.
They know who the meddler extraordinaire is: The United States of America.
Below is a list of US military interventions, CIA coups and clandestine operations in foreign countries since WWII, courtesy of Going Underground. I have taken the liberty of adding some additional incidents, as well as adding context and info links to each entry, so that readers can learn more about what the US did in each instance.
Ii have also added some photos for additional context in some cases.
Notice that NONE of the countries on this list share a border with the USA, and almost all of the countries targeted are nowhere even NEAR the US borders.
I welcome anyone to come back with a similar list for Russia/USSR or China/PRC.
NOTE: as you see some of the photos below, please consider what Israeli and American leaders really mean when they say that Israel and the United States have “shared values”.
American Imperial Interventions since 1945:
Iran 1946: the US asserted its power over Iran and destroyed the fledgling peoples’ republic supported by Russia. The US forced the Soviets to withdraw from Iran. This was the start of the first Cold War.
China 1946–1949: the US opposed Mao and the CCP to help Chiang Kai-Shek and establish the Taiwan outpost
Greece 1947–1949: REGIME CHANGE — the US/CIA helped the fascists overthrow the socialists in the Greek civil war.
Italy 1948: the US/CIA pumped $20 million into Italy and intervened to prevent the democratic election of the socialist party.
Philippines 1948–1954: the US organised the Joint US Military Advisory Group (JUS-MAG) to defend the US puppet government. This was a front for the CIA, which worked to hunt down and destroy the opposition Huks.
Korea: 1950–1953: the Korean War was to prevent the unification of Korea under a populist socialist government. The US committed the most atrocious war crimes during this conflict, and imposed a degree of slaughter that was unprecedented — even in WWII.
Iran: 1953: REGIME CHANGE — At the behest of the British (MI6 and BP), the CIA launched a coup d’état that overthrew the democratically elected government of Mohammed Mosaddegh.
Vietnam: 1954: The US deploys a squadron of CIA pilots flying planes from their CIA-owned and operated Civil Air Transport to fly covert missions against North Vietnam using planes with French insignia. This was also when President Eisenhower first coined the “domino theory”.
Guatemala 1954 : REGIME CHANGE —The US CIA launched a coup d’état under Operation PBSuccess that deposed the democratically elected Guatemalan President Jacobo Árbenz and installed the military dictatorship of Carlos Castillo Armas, the first in a series of U.S.-backed authoritarian rulers in Guatemala.
Lebanon 1958: Operation Bluebat, the codename for the landings at Beirut, marked America’s first military campaign in the Middle East. The goal of the operation was to bolster President Camille Chamoun’s pro-Western Lebanese government from internal opposition and threats from Syria and Egypt.
Panama 1958–1959: The US called out its troops to put down a popular rebellion over nationalising the Panama Canal.
Haiti 1959: The US sent in the Marines to defend “Papa Doc” Duvalier, a brutal dictator, who maintained power using Tontons Macoutes, a paramilitary group trained by the Marines.
Congo 1960–1965: The US fought a bloody proxy war against Congolese national forces allied with the Soviet Union. The US intervention ended with the US sponsored assassination of Patrice Lumumba, the first legally elected prime minister of the DRC.
Vietnam 1960–1964: CIA and US special forces supplied, trained and fought alongside South Vietnamese forces covertly.
Cuba 1960–1962: The US CIA ran multiple covert actions attempting to bring down the government of Fidel Castro. These included Operation Mongoose, a terror campaign inside Cuba, and the Bay of Pigs invasion.
Cuba 1960-Present: ECONOMIC WAR — The US imposed trade sanctions on Cuba that have persisted to this day, and have been declared illegal by the United Nations.
Cuba 1962: The US imposed a naval blockade on Cuba in violation of international and maritime law.
Laos 1962: the CIA paramilitary officers from what is now called Special Activities Center directed native forces against North Vietnamese forces to a standstill. The CIA particularly organized Hmong people to fight against the North Vietnamese-backed Pathet Lao. The CIA fought covert wars in Laos for 13 years.
Ecuador 1963: REGIME CHANGE — In 1960 the the CIA overthrew President Velasco in 1961 in a military coup d’état and replaced by his vice president, Carlos Julio Arosemena Monroy. The CIA later overthrew Arosemena in another coup in 1963.
Panama 1964: US troops once more were called out to repress a popular uprising.
Brazil 1964: REGIME CHANGE — the US organised a coup d’état to overthrow Brazilian president João Goulart and replace him with US-friendly Humberto de Alencar Castelo Branco.
Vietnam 1965–1975: The US fought the Vietnam War against nationalist fighters under Ho Chi Minh, including the Viet Cong (whom the Americans called “VC”, “Victor Charlie” or just or “Charlie”) and the North Vietnamese Regular Army, who wanted an independent and unified Vietnam free from French/Western rule. The US sided with the French and fought against the independence fighters. Over 2 million Vietnamese civilians died during the war.
Indonesia 1965: the US led a military intervention to wipe out the communist party of Indonesia (PKI) and install the brutal regime of Suharto.
Congo 1965: the CIA crushed the Simba Rebellion, which was led by thiose loyal to Patrice Lumumba, whom the CIA had assassinated in 1961.
Dominican Republic 1965: The US invaded the Dominican Republic with Marines and Airborne elements to support the loyalists against the rebels in a civil war.
Laos 1965–1973: the CIA was literally running a war in Laos during this period, which marked “the birth of the military CIA”.
Ghana 1966: REGIME CHANGE — The US organised a coup d’état against Ghana’s President Kwame Nkrumah
Guatemala 1966–1967: the US intervened militarily again to use “death squad” tactics to suppress nationalist elements and trade unionists in the Guatemalan Civil War.
Cambodia 1969–1975: The US and CIA conducted bombing raids during the Cambodian Civil War.
Oman 1970: REGIME CHANGE —The US assisted the British in engineering a “palace coup” to overthrow the sultan and instal their preferred royal on the throne.
Laos 1971–1973: as an ancillary to the Vietnam War, the CIA ran an illegal “secret war” in Laos under code name Operation Momentum.
Chile 1973: REGIME CHANGE — The US organised a coup d’état to overthrow democratically elected Salvador Allende and replace him with the military dictator Augusto Pinochet.
Cambodia 1975: US forces invaded Cambodia to secure US interests in the last battle in Indochina.
Angola 1976–1992: The US funded and supplied the UNITA and the FNLA in their civil war, through CIA’s Operation IA Feature.
Iran 1979: ECONOMIC WAR — In response for deposing the Shah, a brutal dictator and an American ally, the US imposed crippling economic sanctions on Iran that continue to this day.
Iran 1980: the US invaded Iran under Operation Eagle Claw to rescue US hostages being held in the US Embassy.
Libya 1981: The US launched two carrier groups into Libyan waters to force Gaddafi’s Libya to withdraw from the Gulf of Sidra.
El Salvador 1981–1992: DIRTY WAR — The US backed the El Salvador regime in 12 years of civil war led by CIA-trained “death squads” who committed multiple massacres and other atrocities for the US puppet government.
Nicaragua 1981–1990: DIRTY WAR — The US backed the “Contras” against the elected socialist Sandinista government of Nicaragua, using CIA-trained Contra “death squads” who committed multiple massacres and other atrocities in a CIA backed attempt at REGIME CHANGE.
Lebanon 1982–1984: The US deployed the Marines and other US forces to Lebanon as part of a series of international “peacekeeping” missions in support of various factions in the Lebanese cvil war, as well as the Israeli-PLO conflict.
Grenada 1983: The US invaded tiny Grenada under Operation Urgent Fury ostensibly to rescue a group of medical students from unarmed Cuban construction workers.
Honduras 1983–1989: DIRTY WAR — The US turned Homduras into a military satellite, with CIA-trained death squads to support other illegal/covert US operations in El Salvador and Nicaragua.
Iran 1984: The US backed Iraq in the Iraq-Iran War, giving Saddam WMD and other weapons.
Libya 1986: The US launched Operation El Dorado Canyon, a bombing campaign against Libya and in support of Israel. The attack killed 40 Libyans, including Gddafi’s daughter Hana.
Bolivia 1986: The US sent Army and Special Forces to train death squads for the government, ostensibly under an “anti-narcotics” campaign, but really to shore up support for the right wing govt.
Iran 1987–1988: The US launched a series of attacks on Iranian infrastructure, under names such as Operation Praying Mantis and Operation Nimble Archer.
Libya 1989: the US Navy attacked elements of the Libyan Air Force over Tobruk.
Philippines 1989: The US sent Marines to put down a coup attempt against President Aquino, a US client.
Panama 1989–1990: The US invaded Panama under Operation Just Cause to forcibly remove Manuel Noriega as the leader of the country.
Liberia 1990: The US CIA helps criminal warlord Charles Taylor take power in Liberian Civil War; also sends in military forces to do “non-combatant evacuation under Operation Sharp Edge.
Iraq 1990–2003: ECONOMIC WAR — The US imposed sanctions on Iraq that prohibited medicines and vaccines, and led to the deaths of 500,000 Iraqi children.
Iraq 1990–1991: US launches Operation Desert Shield and deploys military armed forces to Saudi Arabia.
Iraq 1991–2003: US invades Iraq in First Gulf War, aka Operation Desert Storm.
Haiti 1991: REGIME CHANGE — The US CIA organised a coup d’état to overthrow duly elected Jean Bertrand Aristide.
Somalia 1992–1994: The US lead an invasion force to occupy Somalia under Operation Restore Hope.
Yugoslavia 1992–1994: The US led NATO to intervene in Yugoslavia during the Balkan Wars.
Bosnia 1993–1995: The US launched NATO’s Operation Deny Flight, a no-fly zone that included close air support and bombing against Bosnia.
Haiti 1994–1996: REGIME CHANGE — The US organised a military intervention” (coup d’état ) named Operation Uphold Democracy to overthrow Raoul Cedras, who had succeeded Aristide.
Croatia 1995: The US supported Croatia against Bosnian Serbs in Operation Storm.
Zaire (Congo) 1996–1997: The US actively supported the rebel group AFDL to overthrow the government of Zaire in the First Congo War.
Liberia 1997: The US engineered the election of CIA asset Charles Taylor to end the civil war.
Sudan 1998: The US launched Operation Infinite Reach, a cruise missile attack which was supposed to strike Al Qaeda, but actually destroyed the largest pharmaceutical plant in Africa, which produced critical anti-malarial and other drugs.
Afghanistan 1998: Part of US Operation Infinite Reach was a cruise missile attack targeting Al Qaeda training camps in Afghanistan that also killed Pakistani intel officers and angered the Taliban into supporting AQ even more.
Yugoslavia 1999: The US led NATO in Operation Allied Force, which included a bombing campaign that lasted 98 days and killed hundreds of Yugoslav civilians.
Serbia 2000: REGIME CHANGE — The US engineered the “Bulldozer Revolution” which deposed the pro-Russian Serbian leader Slobodan Milosevic and replaced him with a pro-Western leader.
(North) Macedonia 2001: The US led NATO to intervene militarily, using air forces, drones and troops, on the side of the government of Macedonia and against the rebel Albanian forces.
Afghanistan 2001–2021: The US invaded Afghanistan under Operation Enduring Freedom, which was followed by a war that lasted until 2021.
Venezuela 2002: REGIME CHANGE — The US organised a coup d’état to overthrow the duly elected leader of Venezuela, Hugo Chaves. The coup attempt failed due to Chavez’s enduring popularity.
Iraq: 2003-present: REGIME CHANGE — The US illegally invaded Iraq based on lies about Saddam Hussein’s regime possessing WMD. The US deposed Hussein, but Iraq never recovered.
Georgia 2003: REGIME CHANGE — The US CIA, with its cutout NED and other CIA-backed NGOs, fomented the Rose Revolution, a covert coup d’état (aka “colour revolution”) which overthrew the government of pro-Russian President Eduard Shevardnadze and installed the pro-US Mikheil Saakashvili.
Haiti 2004: REGIME CHANGE — The US CIA engineered a coup d’état designed to again remove the popular Jean Bertrand Aristide from power.
Ukraine: 2004: REGIME CHANGE — The US CIA, with its cutout NED and other CIA-backed NGOs, fomented the Orange Revolution, a covert coup d’état (aka “colour revolution”) designed to overthrew the government of pro-Russian President Viktor Yanukovych and install a pro-US puppet regime in Kiev.
Syria 2005–2009: REGIME CHANGE — The US imposed sanctions on Syria and actively supported rebel groups aiming to overthrow the Assad government.
Palestine 2006–2007: The US undertook a covert plot / operation to overthrow the elected government of Palestine (Hamas).
Yemen: 2009-present: The US armed and militarily supported the UAE and Saudi forces fighting against the Houthi rebels.
Syria 2011-present: REGIME CHANGE — US has spent billions arming and providing military and logistical support including advisors and special forces to the jihadist groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS who are trying to overthrow Bashar Al-Assad.
Libya 2011: REGIME CHANGE — “We came, we saw, he died” — Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama led NATO in an illegal war on Libya that overthrew Muammar Gaddafi. Now Libya is a failed state.
Ukraine 2013–2014: The US organised the Maidan coup d’état to overthrow the democratically elected government of Viktor Yanukovych and replace him with a hand-picked puppet government.
Venezuela 2015-Present: ECONOMIC WAR — starting in 2015, Presidents Obama, Trump and Biden have imposed a cascade of sanctions on Venezuela in hopes of forcing a regime change. The sanctions have resulted in over 40,000 deaths.
Ukraine 2015 — present: After organising the Maidan coup d’état in 2014, US spent $180 billion and forced NATO allies to help arm and train Ukraine in order to fight a proxy war with Russia to “weaken” Putin and cause a regime change in Moscow. To date over 500,000 Ukrainians have died for nothing, Putin is even MORE popular and Russia is stronger than ever. Meanwhile, Ukrainians continue to die.
Venezuela 2019: REGIME CHANGE — The US backed an attempted coup d’état to replace the “Chavista” President Nicholas Maduro with a pro-US puppet named Juan Guaidó. The attempt failed because of Maduro’s enduring popularity among the working classes.

The U.S is 100% the biggest terrorist country on the globe, they have invaded and interfered for their own gain and they have been doing this with NATO and now AUKUS piller 2. The west needs to wake up, the U.S's destabilisation and aggression doesn't just have a negative effect on those who they target but the rest of us also

Close all the military bases, bring all the troops home.
Close the CIA.
Close the "Diplomatic Immunity" loophole and voila.
Peace at last and politicians we can lock up when they turn mental.
