Kamala Kameleon: “Zionist Adjacent”
Like Trump, Kamala Harris is not directly tied to Israel, but is related to the Zionist state through family.
There has of late been much attention given to the influence of Israel in American politics, the most recent and piquant example of which has been the brouhaha surrounding the speech that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave to the joint session of Congress.
For example, many commented that the House Speaker addressed the Israeli PM with the title of “your Excellency”, an exaggerated honorific never bestowed on a President or Prime Minister before.
The speech garnered even more attention because of Johnson’s edict threatening anyone “getting out of hand” or disrupting Netanyahu’s speech with arrest.
Given the unruly outbursts that often pepper a modern day Presidential State of the Union Address (“You lie!”), this move by Johnson would seem to indicate an even greater level of deference and enforced decorum than Congress would afford their own President.
And finally, Netanyahu was feted with a record-setting 58 standing ovations, far outstripping Joe Biden’s personal best (16) and even that of Ronald Reagan (30).
AIPAC and their “Congressional Lock”
Many observers have commented on how the US Congress is “bought and paid for” in general, and is controlled by the Israel Lobby in particular.
In their landmark book, The Israel Lobby, John Mearsheimer and Stephen Walt wrote:
“[AIPAC‘s] success is due to its ability to reward legislators and congressional candidates who support its agenda, and to punish those who challenge it. Money is critical to US elections…and AIPAC makes sure that its friends get strong financial support from the many pro-Israel political action committees.”
And AIPAC are not ashamed to announce their success in influencing American elections:
That is the carrot, but AIPAC also wields a big stick:
“Anyone who is seen as hostile to Israel can be sure that AIPAC will direct campaign contributions to his or her political opponents. AIPAC also organises letter-writing campaigns and encourages newspaper editors to endorse pro-Israel candidates.”
AIPAC takes down the squad
In the 2024 election cycle, AIPAC really flexed its muscle. They went after “The Squad”, a group of progressive Democrats who were opposed to Israel’s genocide in Gaza and/or expressed support for Palestinian Statehood. Or perhaps they simply failed to demonstrate enough pro-Zionist sentiment to satisfy the folks in Tel Aviv and Washington.
First, AIPAC pumped a record $14.5 Million into an opponent’s campaign to take down Squad member Jamaal Bowman, a Congressman from New York. Bowman had been critical of Israel, calling for a cease-fire in Gaza. The result: Bowman lost his Democratic Primary race to the lavishly funded, pro-Israel AIPAC candidate.
The same thing happened to Cori Bush, another Congressional Squad member from Missouri. Bush had demonstrated the temerity to call for a cease fire in Gaza, and it cost her dearly. AIPAC threw $8.5 million into her opponent’s campaign in just two months. The tactic worked: Bush, like Bowman, lost her Democratic Primary race to her AIPAC-backed opponent.
Zionism as a force in the White House
Ever since Henry Kissinger, Jewish and/or Zionist advisors have held sway in US Presidential Administrations. In fact, much has been made of the seemingly “chronic overrepresentation” of Jews in various Presidential Cabinets.
That is because, while Jews make up only about 2% of the US population, they often comprise half or even more of the key positions in Presidential Administrations.
Trump: the first “Zionist adjacent” President
Donald Trump was the first US President that I would call “Zionist adjacent” due to familial ties.
Trump’s daughter Ivanka converted to Orthodox Judaism in July 2009. This conversion followed — or was prompted by — her having broken up with fiancé Jared Kushner in 2008 because of the objections raised by Kushner’s devout Orthodox Jewish parents.
Apparently the Kushners didn’t want their son marrying a “shiksa”. Once Ivanka converted, however, it was clear sailing. Ivanka took the Jewish name “Yael” and agreed to raise their children as Orthodox Jews.
In converting to Judaism, however, Ivanka achieved an historic first: she became the first Jewish Zionist to be a member of a US Presidential “First Family”.
The Kushners: two Zionist “Senior Presidential Advisors”
Donald Trump bent a lot of rules in order to get around the 1967 anti-nepotism law, which was passed by Congress (at President Johnson’s behest) in response to President John F. Kennedy’s decision to appoint his brother Robert as attorney general.
Nonetheless, Trump prevailed in gifting his two Jewish/Zionist family members with powerful roles in his White House.
Two months into her father’s term as President, Ivanka quit her job at the Trump Organisation to become a “senior advisor” to her father, replete with a top secret security clearance, but focusing on “education and economic empowerment of women and their families”.
Ivanka’s husband, Jared Kushner, also became a “senior advisor” to the President. In Kushner’s case, however, the position rapidly became a key role in forming foreign policy — especially as concerns Israel-Palestine.
In fact, Trump named Kushner “Mideast Envoy” and assigned him the task of “brokering” all the peace initiatives there, including between Palestine and Israel because, as Trump told The Times of London, Kushner “knows the region, knows the people, knows the players.”
Yes, Jared Kushner did indeed “know all the players” — at least on the Israeli side. That’s because his family had been funding illegal Jewish settlements in the West Bank for years.
As The Times of Israel reported:
“Jared Kushner did not disclose on government filings his position as a director of a family foundation that funded projects in West Bank settlements.”
It turns out that Jared Kushner’s family are not just strict Orthodox; they are also radically Zionist.
The Charles and Seryl Kushner Foundation did more than just shower illegal Zionist settlers with money; they funded the most radical, violent and ideological settlements. Settlements like Beit El, which was “founded by ultranationalist group Gush Emunim” according to Wikipedia.
The foundation also donated heavily to the Friends of the IDF, the Israeli military’s fundraising organisation in the US.
How Radical Zionism shaped Trump’s policy
Certainly Donald Trump was influenced by Jewish Zionist donors such as Sheldon and Miriam Adelson and Christian Zionists such as John Hagee of the Zionist powerhouse Christians United for Israel. But it was always Kushner who was there to make sure the Zionist agenda was followed.
The Embassy move to Jerusalem
For example, when Trump was considering moving the US Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a move which had great religious and symbolic significance to Zionists, and a project for which Kushner had been lobbying heavily, the President began to second-guess himself after a phone call with Benjamin Netanyahu. Apparently the secular — if not atheist — Netanyahu l had shown only “tepid” enthusiasm for the highly symbolic move.
It fell to Kushner to get his father-in-law back on the Zionist track.
Recognising the Golan Heights
Most people have heard of the Golan Heights. This is a part of Syria that Israel annexed illegally in the 1967 war. That illegal land grab led to the adoption of UN Security Council Resolution 242 on “the inadmissibility of the acquisition of territory by war”, which said that Israel had to give the Golan Heights back to Syria.
The resolution was unanimously adopted, including by the US, but has been constantly and resolutely ignored by Israel, who use the Golan Heights to (illegally) bomb, shell and surveil Syria from a vantage point.
Then, in March, 2019, Trump declared:
“After 52 years it is time for the United States to fully recognise Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of critical strategic and security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability!”
This was more of Kushner’s “behind the scenes” influence at work.
For Netanyahu, it was quite a coup:
“President Trump has just made history,” Netanyahu said. “I called him. I thanked him on behalf of the people of Israel. The message that President Trump has given the world is that America stands by Israel.”
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, a radically religious Christian Zionist, also crowed:
“President Trump tonight made the decision to recognise that hard-fought real estate, that important place is proper to be sovereign part of the state of Israel.”
As a gesture, or as part of the deal, Israel established a new illegal settlement in Golan named “Trump Heights” — a move which probably ensured US recognition of Israeli sovereignty over the Golan region.
Kushner’s Peace Plan
Kushner worked on an alleged “peace plan” for resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The plan, which he unveiled in early 2020, proposed a two-state solution but was roundly rejected by Palestinian leaders and was not widely accepted generally, as it was totally unrealistic.
“We’ve tried to do it a bit differently,” Kushner said, noting that his plan required “tough compromises,” aims to “make lives of Palestinians better”.
This failure is not surprising — given that his family had donated millions to help illegal Israeli settlers steal Palestinian land.
The illegal settlements like the ones Kushner was funding were never going to stop, and the Palestinians knew this.
The Abraham Accords
The Abraham Accords were Kushner’s REAL mission. These were an elaborate serious of agreements designed to “normalise” relations between Israel and its Arab neighbours, especially in the Gulf.
The purpose was strategic, from a Zionist perspective: by getting these Muslim states to cozy up to Israel in terms of trade and diplomacy, the Arabs would be less likely to fund and support the Palestinian cause. Israel could then get rid of the Palestinian population without arousing the ire of their new trade “partners”, who now depended on Israel for technology, defense, security and so on.
Kushner & Co. really thought it would work, according to VOX:
“Jared Kushner, the main architect of the accords during the Trump years, has remained confident this might happen. “We are witnessing the last vestiges of what has been known as the Arab-Israeli conflict,” he wrote in the Wall Street Journal…”
That was March of 2021.
Kushner was eventually able to get the Accords signed by the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Sudan, and Morocco, but other countries held out. And of course now, post 10/7, the Abraham Accords are viewed as a colossal failure.
Other Zionists in the Trump White House
Aside from the Kushners, there were plenty of other Zionists ib Trump’s White House. Mike Pompeo and John Bolton, for instance, are ardent Christian Zionists.
In addition, there were about 20 Jewish Zionists who worked in the Trump Administration, according to the Jewish Virtual Library.
Biden: the first “Zionist” President
Joe Biden, unlike Donald Trump, was not “Zionist adjacent” — rather, Biden was a full-on, fanatical Zionist himself.
Indeed, when he declared “I am a Zionist”, he really, REALLY meant it. Biden has literally been carrying water for the Zionist Project all his adult life.
When Biden entered national politics in 1973, he spent the next five decades forging his policy positions, focussing on “iron-clad support for Israel’s security”, according to Reuters:
“Biden’s connection to Israel is deeply engrained in his political DNA,” said Aaron David Miller, a former Middle East negotiator who served six secretaries of state in both Democratic and Republican administrations.
“Inventing” Israel
Joe Biden is gaffe-prone, and often has a knack for “saying the quiet part out loud”. He did this regarding the Zionist state in 1986, when, in a speech before the Senate, he declared:
“Were there not an Israel, the United States of America would have to invent an Israel to protect her interests in the region. The United States would have to go out and invent an Israel”.
Well, Joe, there you go again — hinting at the real reason that Israel was founded — and certainly the real reason why the US was so quick to recognise the new Jewish State — just 11 minutes after its creation.
A homicidal Zionist who even shocked Menachem Begin
There is an anecdote which, I believe, sums up Joe Biden’s love for Israel and his support for Israel’s ceaseless slaughter.
In 1982, the young Senator Joe Biden met with Israel’s leader, Menachem Begin. This was one of 10 meetings between the two, and it took place while Israel was waging a bloody invasion of Lebanon.
It should first be noted that Begin was Israel’s first Prime Minister from the ultra-right Likud Party, which was itself a descendant of the bloodthirsty Irgun Zionist terror group — a group that Begin himself had led in a merciless bombing and assassination campaign against the British in Palestine in the 1940's.
So — Begin was no shrinking violet, but even he was taken aback by what Biden told him.
According to Hebrew language reports at the time, Begin said that Biden expressed support for the Lebanese campaign, and even speculated the US would be similarly justified in bombing Canadian cities in retaliation for militant attacks.
According to Ben Burgis at Jacobin, Biden then criticised Begin and the Israelis for worrying too much about civilian casualties:
“If attacks were launched from Canada into the US,” Biden remarked, “everyone here would have said, ‘Attack all the cities of Canada, and we don’t care if all the civilians get killed.”
That’s right: Biden believes that “we don’t care if all the civilians get killed.”
ALL THE CIVILIANS.
I would urge anyone who ever harboured any hope that Biden would do anything to stop the Israeli genocide on Gaza to read the above anecdote and think about what Biden really believes.
Indeed, “Genocide Joe” is a moniker that applies more literally to Biden than most people may realise (I’m looking at you, Canada).
I would bet that in those “tough talk” private meetings with Netanyahu, Biden was yelling at Bibi to hurry up and “kill all the civilians” more quickly than he was.
Biden has more Zionists in his cabinet than … anyone
Given Biden’s 50+ years of hard-core political Zionism, it should surprise no one that Biden’s cabinet, his White House and his administration in general is crammed full with Zionists.
In fact, according to the Jewish Virtual Library, Biden has ALMOST THREE TIMES the number of Zionists in his administration than Trump had (56 Biden appointees to only 20 for Trump).
It’s truly impressive, the extent to which the US Executive Branch has become a Zionist bulwark under “Genocide Joe” Biden — especially when you realise that Jews make up only 2% of the US population.
Moreover: except for the Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin (who is Black), ALL of Biden’s Cabinet Members are Jewish Zionists.
Biden’s cabinet is so heavily Jewish, in fact, that The Forward, an American Jewish media outlet, joked in a headline that the Jews in Biden’s cabinet were “enough for a minyan” (a quorum of Jewish adults needed for some religious obligations).
I will not go into the details of Biden’s pro-Zionist policy portfolio, as everyone has seen the highlights over the past 10 months.
The question is: how much will Kamala Harris follow in Biden’s Zionist footprints, and to what extent with Harris’s own Zionist family members influence her Presidency?
Kamala Harris: “Zionist adjacent?”
The extent to which Kamala Harris will run a pro-Zionist administration depends primarily on to factors:
Biden Admin holdovers
Let’s be honest: Kamala Harris was “installed” as the Democratic candidate by the same shadowy powers that “selected” Biden himself in 2020 — despite his being unfit for the job.
Anyone who thinks that Biden was mentally OK in 2020, when he was running his campaign from his basement just because of COVID, is kidding themselves.
Biden was showing signs of cognitive decline as early as Iowa 2020, and once it was clear that Biden was running at the bottom of the pack, no one had any qualms about pointing out that the VP had “missed a step”.
His dementia suddenly “disappeared”, however, once Obama engineered Biden’s primary victory.
The fact is, Biden did not become incompetent two months ago. Obama and the DNC elites have been calling the shots during the entirety of Biden’s presidency.
The question is: will those same backroom powers control the Harris administration? Will those 56 Zionists keep their places running the US government?
Or will Kamala bring in her own team?
If you know anything about US politics and/or Kamala Harris, you know the second option is a non-starter.
Firstly, Harris doesn’t have a “team”. She is notoriously bad with staff, and over 90% of her VP staff have quit since she took office.
The reality is that the people who put Biden in place and put Kamala in place are still calling the shots. “Continuity of government” in the American context has come to mean much more than just the survivability of the nation’s governing infrastructure in a crisis. In the US, it means a literal continuation of the specific foreign and national security policies developed and approved by the Deep State.
And Kamala Harris, the Zelig of modern American politics, will not be the one to buck the system.
Kamala has history with AIPAC
Let us be clear: Kamala Harris is already a committed supporter of Israel. When she first started to throw her hat into the ring of national politics, one of her first stops was at the AIPAC Policy Conference in Washington in 2017.
Two months into her first term as Senator, the DC neophyte took to the stage to pledge her undying devotion to the Jewish State. She resonated: her 18-minute speech was interrupted “at least a dozen times” by applause, especially when she promised “to do everything in my power to ensure broad and bipartisan support for Israel’s security and right to self-defense.”
Harris was also early to hop onto the anti-anti-Semitism bandwagon: she used the AIPAC conference announced an anti-hate resolution that she introduced in the Senate eight days later (which passed, unsurprisingly, with unanimous consent).
More recently, Harris has received over $5.3 million in donations from pro-Israel organisations, according to AIPAC Tracker.
Doug Emhoff: a Zionist éminence grise?
Like many secular Ashkenazi Jews, Doug Emhoff has only come into his full Zionist identity recently, amid the backdrop of the October 7 attacks and the subsequent “war” in Gaza.
Nonetheless, Emhoff has quickly become a Zionist voice in the Biden Administration, according to the Los Angeles Times:
“No longer just a supporting character for his wife, Vice President Kamala Harris, Doug Emhoff has emerged as an ambassador for his faith and heritage.”
In other words, Emhoff has taken up the mantle of Zionist herald.
“Anti-Zionism is Anti-Semitism”
Emhoff’s newfound appreciation for Israel and Judaism takes the form of the well-worn Israeli narrative that declares anti-Zionism to be the same as anti-Semitism.
Taking a cue from his wife’s successful 2017 pitch to AIPAC, Emhoff has made anti-Semitism his singular issue, and has even organised White House Roundtables to discuss what he calls an “epidemic” of anti-Semitic incidents and events.
Of course, this is all 100% fake, and Emhoff is simply doing his duty as a Zionist to promulgate the hasbara narrative that at all times, in all cases, and in every way, Jews are the victims — even as they bomb the life out of a defenceless civilian population.
He has attacked university Presidents for not cracking down on anti-Semitism. And let’s be clear: this is an attack against free speech on campus and the ability of students to voice their support for Palestine and their demand for a cease-fire.
Emhoff has also weaponised his position as “official anti-Semitism crusader“ to attack Donald Trump, calling him “a known anti-Semite” and condemning him for his remarks around the Charlottesville.
“The Joy of being Jewish”
It seems that, unlike the behind the scenes moves preferred by Jared Kushner, Doug Emhoff’s role will be to promote Israel and Zionism in an open and public way, as the White House’s “official Jew”.
And if one thing is sure, Emhoff LOVES being Jewish. On a recent trip to Paris, Doug Emhoff gushed to reporters:
“I love being Jewish, and I love the joy that comes with being Jewish. And I’m not going to let anyone tell me how to be Jewish.”
On August 13, 2024, the Jewish journal The Forward published an amazing puff piece on Emhoff entitled, “How Doug Emhoff embodies a very specific form of Jewish joy”.
It sounds corny. It sounds absurd., But that is what Emhoff’s mission seems to be shaping up to be.
In a Harris White House, it will be Emhoff’s job to be the kind, smiling, accessible and non-threatening public face of Zionism, which he of course equates with Judaism, and which he in turn equates with “joy”.
Imagine the American public being subjected to a low-intensity propaganda war thematically centred on “The Joy of Zionism”.
That will be Doug Emhoff’s job.
What happens if Kamala wins
So no, I don’t really expect Doug Emhoff to become a “gray eminence”, directing Presidential decisions such as the Kushners did. There will be no room for such “familial” machinations in a Harris administration.
Indeed, those machinations will all be handled by those dozens and dozens of Jewish Zionist advisors, cabinet members and appointees who will make sure that America continues to do the bidding of the Zionist state of Israel.
Resistance is futile
Should Kamala Harris win the Presidential election this year, America’s subsumption by the State of Israel will be complete. Harris will no doubt keep the 50+ Jewish Zionist members of the Biden Administration, and will undoubtedly have a cabinet that is similarly chock full of Zionists.
As we witnessed in July, when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was feted like royalty by the US Congress, there is already one branch of the Federal Government that is completely owned by Israel.
It will be Kamala’s job to ensure that the capture of the Executive Branch is completed under her tenure.
One can only wonder how many more Zionists Harris will be asked to add to her White House. After all, there are usually about 1,200 positions to be filled by an incoming administration. If Harris wanted to establish the same level of Jewish Zionist presence in the White House as we have in the Congress (6%), her handlers would have to choose at least 70.
Cry for Palestine — and for America
If Harris wins, then in 2025 the extermination of the Palestinian people will still be happening, and probably at a faster pace; war will be raging between Israel and its neighbours, and the US may well be asked to send its own people to help.
There will be death and destruction everywhere across the Middle East.
Of course, the situation will be the same if Trump wins. The only difference with a Harris White House is that we will have Doug Emhoff there to remind us that condemning Israel is anti-Semitic, and our Zionist brothers and sisters are actually spreading Jewish joy across the region.

===========================================================================
A depressing but probably quite accurate summary of American Presidential politics.
Fantastic research. I never realized how high a percentage of Zionists were in the current administration and even in past ones. I agree with you that Harris is the "Zelig" of our times and will probably keep each and every Zionist in their current position or give them a higher one. We're truly screwed if we can't wake up more Americans to the fact that Israel has taken over our government.
